What the hell is up Random brothers and sisters. I’m writing to you late night on this hump day. Just smoked a blunt with my ninja and I’m bumpin some Ces Cru. If you guys aren’t hip to them yet wake up! They just got signed to Strange Music and are two very talented lyricists. Anyway out with the bad news first so we can get it over with. My very amazing mother whom I’ve never blogged about yet but to let you guys know shes been in prison (for some BS she didn’t even do) since last summer and was presumed to get out on 4/20 But we were wrong. She still has a minimum 3months in a halfway house/rehab type facility. So thats shitty but she is closer now. So I can finally see her again. Anyway on to pressing and newer news lol. The dates are unofficial but there is a tour in the works with some currently unnameable artists at the moment. But yours truly will be on it to say the least. Album update, I’m having trouble finishing this up. I know I said I was planning on putting it out on 4/20 but as youve seen lately things havent been the best. My bro P.J. (Killa Killz of the American Psycho’z) his dad has not been very well lately so hes been on and off in Georgia spending time with him. And he is my new sole studio proprietor so keep your prayers with him for me. But I promise you I’m hard at work, actually making some adjustments to the album in my downtime. I also plan on starting a video blog/series on youtube with the same title. “Random Thoughts From A Ghetto NerD” Thats also a little ways down. I’m in the process of getting a person to do a couple music videos hopefully before the tour. Along with some custom merch for my fellow nerds out there. I’m working on some cool tshirt designs, one for my song “TM87 on my Hm03″ But Im always looking for new ideas. If you guys have any suggestions please feel free to tell me I will happily consider them. Well my fellow randomers I wish I was staring this 2nd edition of my blog on a more positive note… But I just found out that my close childhood friend passed away last night. He had Sickle Cell disease and he hadn’t taken his medicine and i guess he had a seizure in his sleep and died from it. He was a good friend and will be dearly missed, back in the day he started this little group, called Short People United. Because we would always fight with our homie Gabe’s older brother and his friends who were at the time much taller than us (hence the name) So I plan on doing some form of dedication for him. Maybe a SPU t-shirt maybe more I’m not sure at the moment. But any all all support is welcomed… Sorry to have this second installment so depressing, but I can’t be a one sided writer/artist. I show all parts of the spectrum good and bad. Death is something that’s around us every day and we usually don’t even noticed. I feel us as a society have become greatly desensitized to things like this. Which isn’t always a bad thing, its good to be able to handle/deal with difficult things like this. I for one am no stranger to death. On my 10th birthday my Great Aunt Alice passed away from something relating to diabetes, a trend in my family, I still don’t know the full details of her death but I take in in stride as a way to celebrate my bday and her life because she was one of the closest people to me in my immediate family. Fast forward to 2007 (aka the worst year of my life) where I lost 3 people in 3 months. August, my Great Uncle Terry fell out of his fishing boat and drowned in the Wabash River, September after a long battle with bladder cancer, burying two of her kids then having cancer come back in her kidneys, my Great Grandma passed. Then October, someone who I looked to as a brother (Manny Sauer-Chambers) when I lived in CA was shot and killed in a gang related incident. So like I said death is all around us, and its ok to not be effected by it because you’re a strong person. But its not ok to completely disconnect from the world and your emotions. Its ok to feel sad, its ok to miss them. Because that’s how we’re supposed to feel. Anyway before I ramble on too much more I just wanna dedicate this 2nd blog to my man Ricky, and anyone else out there battling Sickle Cell, the shit is no joke. Well shit,,, this is the fist time I’ve ever done a “blog” per say. It almost feels like school work but not at the same time. I guess I can start with an introduction. My name is Brandon Barekman and I go by the stage name Killa Cali Hustle. I am a jugganerd, that’s what I like to call it. I was born in Fountain Valley CA in the awesome year of 93 and I’ve lived in 4 states including Indiana Georgia and currently reside in Ohio. So I’m a little city, mixed with country, to quote Tech N9ne I’m a ”Klusterfuk” if you will. But most of all I’m a human being. Just like you, that’s something that we don’t hear often anymore is the phrase “human being” people are always so focused on things like black or white. And its sad really, that’s why I’m so proud to be a juggalo and so happy I got connected with Random Certainty. Because I feel that juggalos, at least the real ones, see the world for what it is. We’re all human, made by the same creator. Fuck fighting about shit like who’s bible is right and who ”God’s” messenger was. The real question is did you get the message??? I don’t need a list of rules to tell me I shouldn’t kill my mother. That’s something I instinctively know is wrong. Its called our moral system. When you’re born you know you shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds you, and we all know the golden rule. But that’s just how society has become. Everyone’s chasing the almighty dollar or is infatuated on when the next iPad/phone/pod or whatever the fuck comes next. When instead we should be connecting with people. Spreading peace instead of hate. I don’t know what to make of these blogs but I guess I’d have to say if nothing else what I want people to take away from this is that you’re not alone. We must come together to help destroy the ignorance in this world because it is a plague. Just like most of the mainstream today, nothing but a sickness onto us to help spread more ignorance and disinformation. I think its funny with how much people try to talk about the Illuminati now adays I bet you if you walk up and ask someone 90% of people either don’t know, or just flat out have no idea because all they’ve heard is what they’ve been told. Most people don’t have an opinion now or if they do they’re too afraid to speak their mind. That’s another thing I hope people take from this shit. There is nothing wrong with saying how the fuck you feel, and if someone has a problem with that they can blow it out their ass. And you can say that right to their face, my grandpa fought in Vietnam. Those soldiers got treated like shit for following orders they had no control over. They essentially give up their rights so we can have ours. So I’ll be damned if someones gonna try to stop me from saying whats on my mind and you should feel the same. People try to say they don’t want to “conform” but if 10,000 people wanting to party with each other and spread peace and love is how you choose to conform then what’s so bad. I could see if you conformed into doing some stupid shit that you don’t necessarily agree with just because your music/acting/wrestling/etc idol did so. I’m starting to ramble. But i guess that’s what you get when you have a blog titled Random Shit lol. Well that’s all I have for now, I’ll try to do one of these at least once a week. It was my birthday this past week and I got 6 stitches in my hand so I’ve got some downtime. But I’ll try to just keep it fresh, I’ll talk about things in my life what’s going on with my music and any other random thoughts I have at the time. When we think of Pi most people think of a boring number that involves circles and goes on forever. To some people though Pi is almost mystical in its properties. It is the relation of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Many people see this as a way of encompassing of the circle (the feminine) and the diameter/line (the male) and how they can not be separated. The circle is also generally seen as a mystical shape having not corners. Another wonder of Pi is that every numerical expression can be found in Pi. Your birth day, the days in a year, the amount of minutes since the big bang, all can be found within Pi as numerical expressions. The human fascination with Pi comes from our yearning to understand our world logically. If Logic is masculine and Creativity is feminine, and if the Square is masculine and the Circle is feminine, then this also explains why finding bringing Logic to the Circle is such a big deal. Many of the greatest minds who have ever existed pondered at the marvels of Pi. Why not take a moment to do so yourself? Go get yourself some Pi!
